時間とは変化であり、幾つもの可能性の中から生み出される今に目を向けるための装置である。
生活の中である瞬間の印象が頭から離れなくなることがある。そのままの印象で残しておきたいと様々な方法で残すが、たい ていの場合は時間が立つにつれ逃げて行ってしまう。 瞬間というものは時間の中にあり、流れていく時間が瞬間を永遠にする。 時間もまた、瞬間がなければ印象に残らず、空白になってしまう。瞬間が時間を生み出している。時間と瞬間は相補的な関係 にあると言えるのではないだろうか。

 

Time is change, a mechanism that allows us to focus on the present moment, which is born from countless possibilities.

Moments exist within time; the flow of time makes a moment eternal, and moments, in turn, create time. While working with photography, I usually focus on what remains. But this piece highlights time and moments, which are often forgotten when considering what endures. Through the continuous movement of a lantern, I contemplate what doesn't remain.
